30 Days of Biking - Day 5

Today's ride was on my 1982 Masi Prestige. For the story of how I came to acquire this beautiful steel frame built by Alberto Masi, son of Faliero Masi, click here.

Our 16-mile ride was partly an out & back and partly a loop that began at Iras & Charlies. From their house we rode on Twin Lakes Road to McClaine Rd. and then Tiger Cat. Upon our return we shared a delicious dinner together.

Iras and Charlie and their friends & neighbors, Jack and Pat, are celebrating the fact that the Wisconsin Badgers have made it to the final NCAA championship game. The Badgers made it to the final four and then won against undefeated Kentucky on Saturday night. The Badgers will play Duke on Monday night for the title.
